The Fayette County Extension welcomes the Mushroom Club of GA Saturday, Oct. 3, noon-1:30 p.m. in the public meeting room of the county administrative complex. There will be a free presentation on the world of fungi (mushrooms).
Preceding that meeting, at 9:30 a.m., there will be a hands-on workshop where participants can take home a bag of oyster mushroom spawn. Cost is $10 and the class is limited to 20.
