The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour made a stop at Heron Bay Golf Club in Locust Grove Aug. 8-9 to host the Canongate Series #5, and several local golfers had impressive outings.
Liza Eubanks, pictured above, took home the title in the girls 11-14 division with a two-day score of 156. She shot a 75 on Saturday and an 81 on Sunday.
David Bartels of Peachtree City came in third in the boys 15-18 division with a two-day total of 141, shooting 69 and 72. Logan Perkins of Locust Grove won with a 136 and Peter Chung of Dacula came in second at 139. Eleven players broke 150 for the weekend.
In the boys 13-14 division Luigi Phillips of Peachtree City finished third as Brandon Cho of Suwanee won by two strokes over Jason Quinlan of Cumming.
