The Fayette County NAACP will be presenting its “Your Money, Your Goals” financial literacy workshop Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 1077 Hwy. 314, Fayetteville.
Registration via PayPal is available online at www.fcnaacp.org. The cost is $10 per person and includes lunch and training materials. Space is limited.
Professional presenters at the workshop include Nicole Avery, Malcolm Hughes and Clinton Barrow. The event will be especially useful for volunteers who coach, counsel, mentor, or work directly with economically vulnerable individuals and families.
Interactive training includes financial tools to empower consumers; emotional influences on financial decisions; financial webcast and webinar resources; understanding credit reports and scores; and more.
