The Whitewater Wildcats swept North Hall Tuesday to move into the AAAA state baseball semifinals.
Whitewater won the first game 8-2 and took the nightcap 10-1.
Next up is the winner of the Veterans-St. Pius series, which will see a third and deciding game today.
The semifinal series starts Monday with a doubleheader, with a third game Tuesday if necessary. This will be the first series the Wildcats play on the road so far in the state playoffs.
Last year Whitewater finished second in the state in AAAAA.
