Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City invites everyone to see “It’s Cool in the Furnace,” a musical for children, Saturday, May 2, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 3, at 11 a.m.
The musical tells the story of four Hebrew friends, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who kept their faith and maintained their standards even when they were captives in Babylon.
Children in grades 1-5 in the church’s Music and The Master ministry have prepared the songs and drama scenes.
Shepherd’s Flock Chimers and Shepherd’s Flock Ringers will also play choir chimes and handbells.
Leaders include Christine Plaza, Ellen Pfundt, Lynn Kalinke, Sue Byers, Amy Marland, JoAnne Pritchett, and David Beecher.
The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.
