The Southern Crescent Storytellers plan to honor the great American pastime that is the harbinger of spring – baseball.

The group will perform a storytelling concert at the softball field of Whitewater High School, 100 Wildcat Way, Fayetteville, on Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m.

The popular local storytelling group will present entertaining tales about the game of baseball and its players. The program includes special recognition of currently active tee ball, baseball, and softball players in the community. Admission is free, ball park refreshments are free, and a prize drawing is free.

The Southern Crescent Storytellers are a dedicated group of talented people who are committed to the arts in south Metro Atlanta, to the advancement of children’s literary accomplishments, and to helping make storytelling once again an integral part of culture and entertainment in Georgia and the Southeast.
