The Fayette NAACP Youth Council is sponsoring a “Youth Empowerment Workshop” this month where business and academic skills can be sharpened.
A group of professionals will talk about effective interviews, presentations, and communications; career choices; and preparation for the SAT and ACT college entrance exams.
Workshop presenters will include an educational consultant, career coach, engineer, inventor, audiologist, educator, ophthalmologist, certified public accountant, politician, registered nurse, musician, doctor, lawyer and others.
The workshop will be held Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, 2443 Highway 54 in Peachtree City.
A free lunch buffet will be provided.
