The AVPRIDE “Hawaiian Run Thingy” is Saturday, April 18, at 4:30 p.m. at Heritage Christian Church, 2130 Redwine Road.
This fun family event includes a 5K and one mile fun run, a walk and roll, and a race for wheelchair bound participants. The festivities include hula dance lessons, limbo, karaoke, trike races, a Hawaiian shirt contest, live music, and food freshly prepared by Truett’s Luau. AVPRIDE is the “Association of Village Pride” and the mission of the organization is to assist Fayette County youth become productive citizens.
