Join the more than 6,000 people living in the extended metro Atlanta area that have completed the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) survey to help determine long-range planning for the area.
It’s not too late — the survey remains open through March 31.
The survey offers a chance for citizens to provide thoughts on how technology like driverless cars and improved teleworking might impact lifestyles and commuting in the near future. It also asks for opinions on job centers and where the region might want to create new ones.
Input from the survey will be used to help ARC develop “The Region’s Plan” of investment strategies and performance metrics that will guide public policies and investments related to issues of transportation, land use, water quality, workforce development, an aging population and health resources.
This is an opportunity for everyone to weigh in on regional development so the area grows in ways residents prefer.
The survey is visual, interactive and brief. It allows for open-ended comments throughout. This is the second of three surveys that ARC will conduct over the course of updating The Region’s Plan, set to be adopted in the spring of 2016.
The survey is available at www.atlantaregional.com/theregionsplansurvey and is open until the end of March.
