The Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce recently launched a program for young professionals called “Morning Buzz.”

Morning Buzz is designed to help young professionals ages 21- 45 connect with others in the same group while learning information that will help them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Morning Buzz kicked off in early March at White Oak Golf Club with guest speaker Nathan Nipper. He discussed his journey to becoming chief operating officer of Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

“We are ecstatic to kick off our Morning Buzz series,” said Samantha Brazie, chair of the Young Professionals. “The purpose of this quarterly event is to educate and inspire Young Professionals to champion professional and community growth, and Nathan Nipper was the perfect one to speak to that.”

In the last 16 years, Nipper has held healthcare management positions with Piedmont Healthcare and Emory Healthcare. He has a diverse work history in the healthcare field, with experience that includes strategic and operational planning; clinical and support operations and improvement; productivity systems development and implementation; and physician practice management.

Admission to Morning Buzz is $10 per person, and breakfast is provided.  The next Morning Buzz takes place on Tuesday, June 9, at 7:30 a.m. at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Parks Avery of Avery & Pope Wealth Management will be the speaker.  Reservations are required for this program. For more information, contact The Chamber at 770-253-2270 or email [email protected].

The Newnan-Coweta Chamber is an independent, nonprofit organization with a mission of championing economic prosperity for its members.

The Chamber works to provide business leadership to foster an economic and cultural climate favorable to all business, in order to create a higher quality of life for all residents.
