St. Gabriel fish fry set for Friday
Knights of Columbus, James P Lyke Council 11458, St. Gabriel Catholic Church, will continue the annual Friday Fish Fry, each Friday through March 27. The first plate will be served at 5:30 p.m. Adult meals are $8 per plate; child meals $5 per plate. Both baked and fried options are offered. The church is at 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville. COS plans dinner, auction March 20
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will host a Pancake and Sausage Dinner along with a silent and live auction Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m. The dinner will be catered by Mimi of Mimi’s Good Food Restaurant. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Proceeds will benefit the COS preschool ministry. Auction items may be previewed at http://www.coslp.org/community-support.
Genealogy classes offered Tuesdays
The LDS Church’s Fayetteville Family History lab offers free family history sessions on various topics and areas of research Tuesday evenings from 7 – 8:30 p.m. The class meets at 2021 Redwine Road in Fayetteville. ESL classes meet every Friday
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults will meet weekly through May 15 at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, PCA. Classes are free and students can join any time. Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care. A Stephen Minister is a well-trained caregiver who listens, cares, prays, and encourages during a time of need.
