Grab some walking shoes and join Piedmont Fayette Hospital doctors for a “walk and talk” session on Saturday, March 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Patriot Park, 1100-1102 Redwine Road, Fayetteville.
The “Walk with a Doc” program allows participants to get some exercise while talking with a doctor about health topics.
The March “Walk with a Doc” will be led by Interventional Radiologists Mathew Gimpert, M.D., and Fawzi Mohammad, M.D. During the event, the doctors will take a few minutes to talk about a health topic and participants can ask questions for the remainder of the session, which will be about 40 minutes.
Registration is required and walkers will receive a t-shirt and water bottle.
“The walks were very popular last year and we’re looking forward to bringing them back this spring,”
said Debbie Britt, executive director, community and public relations at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
The walks will all be held at Patriot Park and are scheduled monthly from March through September as follows.
