“The Big Event,” hosted annually by the Newnan Junior Service League (NJSL), will be a semi-formal Casino Night this year.
The “Big Event” is an annual fundraiser benefiting non-profit grant recipients in the Coweta County area and will be held on March 28 at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum in Newnan from 6 – 10 p.m.
The league has partnered with Prime Time Eventz to create an evening of food, drinks and gaming that will include casino favorites like Black Jack, Roulette and Craps. Attendees will be allotted playing chips to begin the fun and have an opportunity to buy more chips throughout the night. At the end of the evening, a prize will be given to the person with the highest chip count.
The evening will also include a raffle for a three-night trip for two to San Antonio, TX. Raffle tickets are $5 each and winners do not have to be present to win.
Tickets for the Big Event Casino Night are $50 each, and may be purchased from any NJSL member, or by emailing a request for tickets to [email protected].
The NJSL has chosen Coweta Pregnancy Services as this year’s grant recipient. Coweta Pregnancy Services has been sharing hope for women and men facing unplanned pregnancies for more than 26 years. The agency provides pregnancy testing and counseling, limited ultrasound exams, and parenting/mentoring classes to new and expectant parents. All services are free of charge.
