East Coweta band planning reunion

Alumni of the award-winning East Coweta High School Marching Band are organizing a band reunion for all classes this summer in honor of the late band director Tam H. Easterwood, a dynamic and influential force that set the tune for years after his passing.

Easterwood was 36-years-old in 1995 when an inoperable brain tumor caused his death.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of his death and with that in mind, alumni are organizing the reunion. They also extend the invitation to band members who did not participate directly under Easterwood because they believe his legacy continued to positively influence band members for many years.
