Bob Reeves has been named Fayette County’s “Outstanding Business Person of the Year” by the Chamber of Commerce.
Reeves was one of several business leaders honored during the chamber’s 2015 Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon on Jan. 16 at Dolce Atlanta-Peachtree. More than 320 business and community leaders attended the luncheon to congratulate their peers.
Two awards for business excellence in 2014 were given. One was awarded to Reeves, of Accounting Resources, for his longtime leadership in Fayette County and Metro-Atlanta Region. The Small Business of the Year award was presented to NAECO, LLC.
The following awards were also give at the luncheon;
Young Professional of the Year — Jon Hughes, Bank of North Georgia;
Volunteer of the Year — Jeff Edwards, Jeffrey S. Edwards, CPA;
Chet Wells Award — Trey Rasgdale, Kaiser Permanente.
The Dreambuilder Award for service to the Fayette County community was given to Marie Sams, founder of The Joseph Sams School.
“The chamber is pleased to host this gathering of Fayette County’s most influential business and civic leaders, whose hard work significantly benefits our community,” said Greg Detwiler, 2015 chamber Board Chairman. “Today we honored a select few of those leaders, but everyone in the room is an integral part of the planning and preparation for our county’s future opportunities.”
The Fayette Chamber is a network of businesses and organizations working together to promote economic prosperity and to strengthen the community.
