Piedmont collects thousands of toys for Toys for Tots

Piedmont’s medical community collected 2,525 toys as part of their Marine Toys for Tots Foundation campaign in Fayette and Coweta counties. Toys were collected at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Piedmont Newnan Hospital and physician practices throughout the two counties in order to provide a better Christmas for disadvantaged children in the area. On Tuesday, Dec. 16, the collected toys were delivered to Piedmont Heart on Francis Way in Sharpsburg for a “Collection Celebration,” where several members of the U.S. Marine Corps visited with participants.
