Instead of the typical neon yellow or white, Coweta-Fayette EMC linemen and outside employees are wearing bright pink hard hats in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and encourage early detection. “Our linemen were happy to help raise awareness,” EMC CEO Anthony “Tony” Sinclair said. “Fighting breast cancer is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts, and a portion of the funds used to purchase the hats directly support the American Cancer Society.
