With more than 100 businesses and organizations exhibiting under one roof, the 2014 Community Expo is your “roadmap” to the products and services that can be found right here in Fayette.
For the 24th year, the Fayette Chamber of Commerce invites the community to the county’s largest tradeshow. Expo is Sept. 23 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church-South Campus, located at 1563 Joel Cowan Parkway. Admission is free.
Community Expo showcases local businesses, community organizations and educational institutions and is expected to draw more than 1,500 visitors to its booths and exhibits. With a focus on buying local and building Fayette’s economy, Expo’s presenting sponsor this year is Allan Vigil Ford-Fayetteville.
Whether you are looking for solutions for home, business, education or charitable and support services, Expo’s got it all.
Visitors will find a wide array of service providers and product suppliers for the home that can meet almost any need, from pest control to home remodeling to electronic repair services.
Local entertainment and event venues will be on hand, as well as restaurants and caterers. Some of the most popular exhibitors every year are the array of health and wellness exhibitors offering information about their specialties and conducting health screenings.
For business owners, the Expo is a great place to expand business and supplier networks, staffing agencies to legal services to banking resources. Business owners and representatives can take advantage of an afternoon of networking and learning about products, services and resources that will benefit their bottom line.
Education exhibitors such as universities, private schools, educational publishers, literacy advocates, and tutors will be on hand. In addition, local non-profits and charities that support our community also will be available.
As if the variety of exhibitors and business networking opportunities are not enough, there’s more to offer visitors.
This year, the Expo is excited to feature a variety of musical performances and art displays by Fayette County school students throughout the day. Visitors should also plan to visit the Expo Cafe, where Contemporary Catering in partnership with Allan Vigil Ford will be serving delicious food samples.
