It’s time for the 37th annual Shakerag Arts & Crafts Festival in Peachtree City. Hosted by the Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events Department, the festival begins Sept. 20 and continues through Sept. 21. The event is at Shakerag Knoll located at 191 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269. The hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5p.m. on Sunday.

The Shakerag Arts & Crafts Festival features a wide variety of handcrafted goods such as home decor, jewelry, accessories, garden items and much more.

Approximately 135 arts, crafts and food vendors come from all over Georgia and nearby states to be a part of this annual show. Event coordinator Kelly Duncan mentions, “This is a great time to shop for the holidays and find unique gifts for friends and family.”

Entertainment is being provided by DJ Bill Mitchell, Rachel’s Dance Connection and Simply Unique, and the festival will offer face painting, crafts, a moonwalk and carnival games for children.

As always, admission and parking are free, and the festival will go on rain or shine.
