COS seniors plan ‘rah rah’ evening
Senior Go-Getters at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will host a “Rah Rah Evening” on Sept. 12. All are encouraged to wear school colors, wave collegiate banners, and compete for bragging rights. Chef Matt Preble will provide dinner of “comfort food” at a cost of $10. To make reservations or ask questions, email [email protected].  All post-55 seniors are welcome.

Heritage to host Beth Moore simulcast
Heritage Christian Church will host a Beth Moore Simulcast on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 2130 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville.  All women and girls are invited to attend  from 9:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. with doors opening at 9 a.m. The cost is $25 and includes lunch.  Register at www.heritagechristian.org. Greekfest coming up Sept. 20
This year’s annual Greekfest sponsored by St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church in Peachtree City, will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m., at Dixie Wing Hangar, Falcon Field, in Peachtree City. Tickets  are $50 per person and include all-you-can-consume traditional Greek appetizers, buffet dinner, desserts, adult and regular beverages. All proceeds benefit St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church Building Fund.
