Three McIntosh High School students were honored at a recent Rotary Club of Peachtree City luncheon for their winning “Laws of Life” essays.  This time each year area middle school and high school students compete in the Georgia “Laws of Life” Essay Contest sponsored by the Rotary Club of Peachtree City.

The Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest is a state-wide character education program for high school students, reaching nearly 40,000 students each year. The contest challenges students to reflect on core values such as generosity, courage, perseverance and compassion. It promotes advanced literacy skills and gives teens an opportunity to craft written arguments for their ethical values.

Each student recited their winning essay for the Club then was honored with a prize check presented by Rotarian Judge Jason Thompson, chairman for the High School Laws of Life Essay Contest.
