A Senoia man was arrested Sept. 7 and charged with multiple counts in connection to an altercation at a Peachtree City residence that occurred on the previous evening.

Jorge Fernando Gonzalez-Trujillo, 27, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, cruelty to children, terroristic threats and acts and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to arrest reports.

Officers responded to the Kings Ridge residence off Wynnmeade Parkway at approximately 11:30 p.m. in reference to a domestic disturbance involving guns displayed by the victim and the alleged suspect, police reports said.

Once on the scene, officers spoke with the homeowner who said four Hispanic males approached his residence. One of the men subsequently exited the vehicle carrying a semi-automatic handgun, reports said.

The homeowner told officers the man, later identified as Gonzalez-Trujillo, racked the slide on the handgun, ejecting a round and pointed the gun at him. The homeowner said he feared for his life, produced a weapon of his own and pointed it at Gonzalez-Trujillo, reports said.

At that point Gonzalez-Trujillo’s juvenile brother approached the two men, retrieved the ejected round and the two left the area in a Ford F150 pickup, according to reports.

The truck was located later and stopped on Wynn’s Pond Road in east Coweta County a short distance from Peachtree City. Subsequent investigation led to Gonzalez-Trujillo’s arrest, according to reports.
