A gas leak has shut down Westbridge Road in both directions as crews from Atlanta Gas Light are on the way to begin repairs.
The gas line was struck by contractors working on the bridge project, county officials said.
The incident happened just after 1 p.m. and it is expected to take at least an hour or more to repair.
