The Children’s Ministry at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, “The Pathway,” will host summer events for children and families from now into August.
Terrific Tuesdays are for elementary-age children. Advance registration is preferred. Go to www.coslutheran.org and click on the Terrific Tuesdays/Family Fridays link, or send an email to children@coslutheran.org.
Preschool-age children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. The hours for all Terrific Tuesdays are 2-4 p.m. All events are at the church except for Art Tuesday.
June 18 is Art Tuesday at Saville Studios, 401 Dividend Dr., Peachtree City. This event costs $15 per person. Children will create a piece of art to take home.
July 9 is Photography Tuesday. Children will bring a camera and learn guidelines for picture-taking.
July 16 is Worship Tuesday. After learning about parts of worship, children will construct a service and then lead it at 3:30 p.m. with all welcome.
Family Fridays are on the second Friday each month from 7-9 p.m. at the church.
June 14 is Family Feud Friday. Families of ages and sizes are welcome. Look for surveys on the website to complete and provide “data.”
July 12 is Movie Night. and Aug. 9 is the “Great COS Bible Challenge” game show.
