Dogwood’s GriefShare starts tonight
Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to register for the GriefShare program held at Dogwood Church. GriefShare will be held on Wednesdays from 7 – 8:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 9 in the office building of Dogwood Church, 975 Ga. Hwy. 74 in Tyrone. CDM plans prophetic night service
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) will host a Prophet Chambers Prophetic Night Service on Friday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier. For directions, contact the CDM office at 770-969-8370. No nursery or childcare will be provided.

Ugandan Thunder choir to perform at Lisbon
Lisbon Baptist Church will host the Ugandan Thunder Children’s Choir, Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 6:30 p.m. The Ugandan Thunder Tour is sponsored by Pennies for Posho, a nonprofit Christian ministry that provides food, clothing, shelter, and clean drinking water to ten orphanages in Uganda. CBI sponsors dinner dance and more Jan. 26
Congregation B’nai Israel will sponsor an evening of dinner, dance, dance lessons and performances Saturday, Jan. 26, from 8 p.m. until midnight at the Newnan Community Theatre Company (#24 1st Avenue). The evening will feature the sounds of “Second Time Around.” The cost is $25 per person and includes live music and dinner. Prayer group meets at Summit
