On Saturday, Nov. 17, Main Street will host its final Market Day event of 2012 at the Lane Brown Gazebo. The Market opens at 10 a.m. and will close at 2 p.m.
As always, local vendors will be offering a variety of handmade and homegrown products.  Everything from holiday wreaths, handmade children’s clothes, yard art, which includes collegiate bird houses, decorative wine bottles, art work, candles, scarfs, quilts, crocheted items, kettle popcorn, pork skins, roasted corn, jewelry, jellies, fresh produce, homemade breads, handmade soaps, delicious desserts and much more.

“Market Day this year has been very well attended and Main Street looks forward to next year when Market Day will start up again the third Saturday in June,” said Main Street Coordinator, Joyce Waits.

Be sure to visit the Main Street Booth to view the new Historic Fayette Courthouse ball style Christmas ornaments, as well as other items to purchase that are also displayed at the Train Depot/Welcome Center, City Hall and at the Holliday Dorsey-Fife Museum.

Any vendors wishing to participate in Market Day for 2013 should call 770-719-4173.
