LDS kids will wash your car for free Sat.
The youth from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will provide a free car wash for the community this Saturday, Sept. 8 from 9:30 – 11 a.m.  in the Peachtree City Mormon church parking lot at the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.  No donations will be accepted.

Senoia UMC will host special service
Senoia United Methodist Church will host a special worship service on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 10:55 a.m., to honor members of the emergency services (fire services, EMS, etc.) and their families and to remember the sacrifices of those affected by the events of the Sept. 11 World Trade Center attack. A covered dish dinner will be served following the service. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to office@senoiaumc.org.

Annual Greekfest coming up
Greekfest 2012 wil be held Sept. 15 , beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Dixie Wing Commemorative Air Force Hangar at Falcon Field in Peachtree City. The event will feature Greek appetizers, favorite entrees and Greek pastries, adult beverages and soft drinks, live entertainment and a silent auction. Vendors needed for craft fair in October
