A Peachtree City woman has been arrested for overachieving in the marriage department.

Lucy Caudill, 39, of Revolution Drive in the Centennial Subdivision, was discovered to be married to two men at the same time, and has been charged with one felony count of bigamy, along with one count of forgery in the second degree, police said.

The investigation determined that Caudill has been married to her first husband for approximately 15 years. On April 25 of this year, she applied for a marriage license at Fayette County Probate Court under a different name and the next day, she married her second husband in a small ceremony at Starr’s Mill, police said.

The probe began when a concerned resident told police that Caudill was involved in a bigamous marriage with a local man, police said.

It was determined that Caudill met her second husband at the Tavern on 74 sports bar in October 2011, police said.

Caudill was arrested today (May 3) on the two felony charges.
