Two Griffin men were arrested April 11 on burglary charges in connection with a break-in in progress on Ga. Highway 85 Connector.
Fayette County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Brent Rowan said deputies arrested Terry Darnell Davis, 26, and Victor Rashad Debruhl, 25, both of Griffin. Both men were charged with burglary, Rowan said.
Rowan said Davis and Debruhl illegally made entry in a barn located behind a residence on Hwy. 85 Connector and stole an unspecified number of items. Davis and Debruhl were arrested at the incident location and taken to the Fayette County Jail, Rowan said.
In another case, sheriff’s investigators on April 10 obtained a criminal arrest warrant in a case involving an identity fraud incident that occurred on Feb. 27. Rowan said investigators obtained a criminal arrest warrant for Willie Lovett, 37, of Atlanta, charging him with one count of identity fraud.
The case involves Lovett using a cloned credit card belonging to a Fayette County citizen to pay a Metro PCS bill, said Rowan.
