Burglars steal A/V equipment from PTC church

Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 to solve a burglary that occurred at Peachtree City First Baptist Church early Sunday morning.

Various audio-visual equipment and related components were taken from the church, police said.

Police also released a description of a suspicious person seen in the area several days before the burglary: a white male, 6’4” tall, with a heavy set build, approximately 260 pounds with a shaved head. This person was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, police said.

The reward is reserved for information that lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or people who committed the burglary and damaged church property during the incident, police said.
