Peachtree City’s Kylie Dickinson is doing her part to help children with cancer. She has been using her skills as a violinist to raise money for the Aflac Cancer Center, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. These skills have grown as a member of the Fayette Fiddlers over the past four years.
“I love playing for people and I am so happy that they help take care of children,” said Dickinson. “It is also important to thank the store owners who let me do what I can for others.”
Dickinson has raised funds for the American Cancer Center and the victims of the earthquake in Japan over the past year. She has only recently chosen the Aflac Cancer Center as her charity of choice. Her goal is to donate $1,000 by the end of 2012 and she is already off to a good start.
Those willing to donate can search for “Click for Kids” online and look for Dickinson’s individual page. Another option is to give when you see Kylie and her violin around town.
