Tickets are now on sale for the annual Fayette County production of The Nutcracker Ballet. The Peachtree City Civic Ballet Company will once again bring this classic holiday tradition to the stage on Saturday, December 10 at 2 and 7 p.m and on Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School.

The production includes a cast of over 100 local dancers, beautiful costumes, lavish scenery, and family friendly ticket prices. Tickets are just $10 each with special group ticket rates available. Scout troops and church groups are invited to register for free backstage tours.

Dancing the role of Clara are three local middle school students, Claudia Frable, Cheyanne Gee, and Mackenzie Murdock. Fayette County High School junior, MaryGrace Williams will perform the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

According to director Kathleen Senger, “this is truly a local production featuring talented dancers from Fayette, Coweta, Fulton, and Clayton counties. Many area businesses support the ballet which allows us to keep ticket prices affordable. This is the ideal opportunity to introduce the art of ballet to young children.”

Tickets may be purchased at the Peachtree City School of Dance, the Coweta Dance Academy, the Tutu Cute Dance Boutique, or by phone at 770-632-1544.
