Peachtree City Police are asking for the community’s help in locating a person of interest in connection with a man that reportedly asked two juveniles to get in his vehicle.

Department spokesman Mark Brown said that on Nov. 10 two juveniles reported that they were waiting at the bus stop at the intersection of Wynnmeade Parkway and Tower Road when a person stopped at the stop sign next to them and asked them to “get in the car.”

Brown said the juveniles ignored the person’s request but added that the following day the same person stopped at the same stop sign.
The person did not say anything on this date, and drove away from the area, Brown said.

The person is described as an older white male with brown hair, glasses and last seen wearing a white shirt. The vehicle was described as a white and orange “job-type truck” with letters on the side, Brown said.

The police department is asking for anyone who may have information on this person to contact the department at 770-487-8866. Also, we would like to remind everyone that if this person is sighted in the area of a bus stop, to call 911 immediately. Please do not approach the person. Instead, obtain a tag number and description of the person, and provide this information to the 911 call taker as soon as possible.
