Police are asking Peachtree City residents to watch out for a suspicious person at a bus stop at an apartment complex Thursday and Friday.
The driver of a gray Honda Pilot reportedly asked two juveniles at Balmoral Village if they would like to sit in his car, also remarking that they were pretty and it was cold, police said.
The male left the area on both occasions after the juveniles left the area or declined his offer, police said. The juveniles told police they had seen the male before at the bus stop and he possibly picks up or drops off another child there.
The driver was described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, with early length dirty blond hair and brown or hazel eyes.
Police also have learned that a male with an unknown description drove slowly by a person three times at another bus stop in south Peachtree City: on Terrace Tay at Cameron Trail. It is not known if those incidents involve the same adult male.
Anyone with information on the man is asked to call police at 770-487-8866. If he is spotted near a bus stop, call 911 immediately and do not approach him, police said. Instead, obtain the vehicle tag number and a description of the driver, and provide that information to 911 as soon as possible, police said.
