Peachtree City’s 34th annual Shakerag Arts and Crafts Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, and Sunday, Sept. 18, at Shakerag Knoll, 191 McIntosh Trail. The annual event is known for its handmade arts and crafts, and the delicious array of food vendors.
This year, Shakerag will offer a variety of vendors from around Georgia and the south, with unique items that include pottery, paintings, ceramics, clothing, florals, pet accessories, and jewelry. A children’s area will feature games, pony rides, and a craft station for minimal fees.
Event coordinator Becky Kimble said, “This is a great way to get a jump on holiday shopping. The range of vendors means shoppers can find something unique and original for friends and family.”
The festival hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18. Shakerag will be held rain or shine, and parking and admission to the event are free.
