Georgia Singers concert is May 22
Georgia Singers spring concert will be held this Sunday, May 22 at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City. The concert is free. Georgia Singers is a community choral organization for women from grades 7 through college-age and beyond, under the direction of nationally recognized conductor, Dr. Franklin Green and accompanied by Rick Massengale. First Presbyterian is on Willowbend Road just off Ga. Highway. 54 in the heart of Peachtree City.

Brooks UMC plans blood drive May 23
The Red Cross will be at Brooks UMC for a blood drive on May 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. Appointments are suggested but walk-ins are welcome. To make an appointment, call the church office, 770-719-7593 or email Two pairs of roundtrip Delta Air Line tickets will be given away to donors who give blood between April 1 and June 30, 2011. Brooks UMC is three miles south of Ga. Highway 85 (at Starrs Mill) on Ga. Highway 85 Connector.

S.A.G.E. heads for Stone Mountain
The S.A.G.E. group (Senior Adults Going Everywhere) at Fayetteville First UMC will travel to Stone Mountain for an outing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 22. The cost is $25 plus “lunch on your own” at one of the Stone Mountain Park restaurants. Reservations and payment are due no later than June 15 at noon in the church office. The trip is dependent on a minimum of 15 persons participating. The church is across from the Fayette County Courthouse in downtown Fayetteville.

CDM camp registration continues
Registration for the CDM summer camp in Fairburn will continue every Saturday through May 28, from 9 a.m.- noon. There will be a one-time registration fee of $50 per family plus a camp fee of $50 per student, per week. For a family of three or more the cost is $130 per family, per week. One day Drop-In cost is $20 per day, per child. The camp will run from Tuesday, May 31 – Friday, Aug. 5, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Register at 104/114 W. Campbellton Street, Fairburn.
