0The Second Chance Thrift Shop in Brooks will have its annual sale in the gym at Brooks United Methodist Church on Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be bargains on everything from clothes to furniture.
Proceeds benefit local, national and international outreach and mission programs.
A pancake breakfast is also scheduled on Saturday morning at the church from 8 – 11:30 a.m. There is no cost for the breakfast, but donations will be accepted.
Brooks UMC is at the corner of Ga. Highway 85 Connector and Morgan Mill Road, three miles south of Ga. Highway 85 at Starr’s Mill.
