The Crabapple Lane Cardinal’s Science Olympiad team went to county competition March 19 and came home with a strong second place finish. The team consisted of 27 members from 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Each student that competed earned at least one award for placing in the top six. Events in the Olympiad included water rockets, mystery architect, and crime busters. The Cardinals will now prepare to go to state competition in May. The team is coached by fifth grade teacher Pat Costa. Photo/Special.
