Beef O’Brady’s gives county’s families a great place to meet and eat

You don’t have to be a sports fan to enjoy Beef O’Brady’s in Peachtree City, but it helps.

Since 2001, Beef O’Brady’s has been a popular spot for casual, family dining. It’s a place where the kids can scramble off to the game room, the guys can get together to watch a game or people can just get together for an inexpensive quality meal.

The first Beef O’Brady’s opened in Tampa, Fla. in 1985 and there are now 260 locations worldwide. The Peachtree City location was number 56 and it draws a good crowd most nights of the week. The walls are covered in local, regional and national sports paraphernalia and there are several televisions of varying sizes playing the latest sports, news and the current games in a variety of sports.

The menu, which has recently rolled out some new items, features wings, hot and cold salads, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, hamburgers and more.

Owner Sonny Ishmael’s favorite items, because of the great quality, are the hand breaded chicken tenders, tacos and hamburgers. Many people agree that the quality of the food is excellent.

“We have a lot of regulars,” said Ishmael. “Some that come three or four times a week. They become regular guests and then good friends over the years.” Among the more popular items with his diners are the wings, wraps and the grilled chicken salad.

Entrees range from $6-$10 to keep things affordable and the staff is top notch.

“They are very stable. We have some employees who have been with us for seven or eight years,” Ishmael said. “They are very popular with the guests.”

Open for lunch and dinner, Beef O’Brady’s also offers catering, with platters, wings and box lunches on the menu.

Ishmael has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years. He raised his family in Peachtree City and is a part of the community. The sense of community and family is one of Beef O’Brady’s strengths. It’s a friendly place where you can come as you are, see your neighbors and just be comfortable.
