0The grand opening last week of the Sam’s Club store at Fischer Crossings in east Coweta County came an added benefit for a number of area’s non-profits and agencies. Store manager Darrell Arnold (bottom left) presented checks for $2,500 to the Coweta County 4-H, Coweta Boys & Girls Club, Peachtree City Fire Department, Civil Air Patrol, Community Welcome House, Corral, Coweta Community Food Pantry, Coweta County Fire Department and the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
The real question is not whether these projects create any value, but whether the public costs are being modeled honestly…
