Mrs. Aline P. Verlander of Peachtree City died December 30, 2010.
Mrs. Verlander was a long-time member of Beecher Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta and is currently a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. She retired from the Atlanta Public School System.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Carl Verlander.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Verlander and his wife Ann of Johannesburg; Gene Verlander of Thomaston; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00AM at Flat Creek Baptist Church with remains placed in state at 10:00 AM, Dr. Jerry Cross officiating. Interment immediately following at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
