It was more than the usual Halloween festivities last weekend in Fayetteville. The annual Cemetery Walk featured ghosts (historically speaking) from Fayette County’s past who were all decked out in period costumes. The record-breaking 260 people taking the tour spent time with the likes of the now-departed Lucy Redwine, Prof. George Looney, Doc Holliday, Capt. W.P. Redwine, Tabitha Gilbert, Margaret Mitchell, Saphronia North, Blake Gilbert, Willie Kate Travis and, last but not least the ravishing Beauty Griggs (pictured above). Photo/Ben Nelms.
