‘Guys and Dolls’ opens Friday at ‘The Fred’

The Twilight Theatre production of “Guys and Dolls” opens this weekend under the stars at the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater in Peachtree City at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday night Sept. 3-4 and continuing on Sept. 10-11. Directed by Tammy Barton with music direction by Barbara Zellner, “Guys and Dolls” is a delightful comedy about love in New York in the early 1950’s.

The colorful costumes have been designed by Nancy Bixler. The cast includes Amanda Lindsey, graduate of West Georgia University, local businessman Dustin McDonald, college students Celia Sullivan and Jason Lindsey and high school seniors Anna Kate Spears and Jonathan Campbell. Many adults join the cast, including Twilight regulars Bob Grillo as Big Jule and Rick Ricker as Lt. Branigan.

The Twilight Theatre is community theater company head-quartered in Fayette County and performing in Fayette, South Fulton, and Coweta counties. Tickets for “Guys and Dolls” are available at The Fred box office weekdays during normal business hours. Tables for 6 are also available for $125.
