Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators have arrested several people in recent days in four different cases.
Jasmyne Jordan, 21, of Decatur was arrested Aug. 24 on identity fraud. Detectives said Jordan on Aug. 3 cashed a stolen check at a Delta Community Credit Union branch which belonged to a Fayette County resident.
Brandon Adams, 27, of Griffin was arrested Aug. 25 for theft by taking after he was alleged to have stolen a cellphone from a resident’s home, investigators said. Adams was doing contract construction work from the home at the time of the Aug. 24 incident, and investigators recovered the phone and returned it to the victim.
Michael Crump, 23, of Atlanta was arrested Aug. 11 for theft by receiving stolen property. He is accused of possession a stolen air conditioner pump which had been reported stolen from Newnan the day before, investigators said.
Christopher Dale Collins, 37, of Senoia was arrested Aug. 26 for theft by deception. Collins is accused of returning stolen merchandise to the Stein Mart in Fayette County for a store credit although he knew it had been stolen from a Stein Mart delivery truck Aug. 19, investigators said.
