Author pitches in for Bridget

Local Christian suspense author Debby Giusti will sign her latest book, “The Officer’s Secret,” May 19 to help raise funds for a kidney transplant for 9-year-old Bridget O’Connell (L). The signing will take place at Omega Book Center Thursday May 19 from 4:30 to 7 p.m., and proceeds will assist O’Connell as she battles kidney disease and prepares for a coming transplant operation.
