The period of Nov. 6-12 came with two burglaries in unincorporated Fayette County, seven entering autos in Fayetteville and a stolen golf cart in Peachtree City.
Unincorporated Fayette had two burglaries reported during the period. One of those occurred between Nov. 6-8 at a newly constructed residence on Rising Star Road in south Fayette.
Sheriff Barry Babb said the home, currently unoccupied, was entered and a dishwasher, oven and microwave stolen.
A second burglary was reported on Nov. 8 on Oak Knoll near Banks Road. Babb said the homeowner had been away and returned to find the front door kicked in and three televisions stolen.
Fayetteville during the period had entering auto incidents reported on Nov. 7 at two homes in the same neighborhood off Redwine Road and five on Cobblestone Boulevard off Ga. Highwy 54 East.
The first entering auto incident, on Bellhaven Avenue, involved a handgun stolen from a vehicle, with Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Chad Myers noting that there was no forced entry into the car. One of the doors was found ajar, he said.
The second incident occurred at a nearby Millhaven Landing residence with three vehicles in the driveway. Doors were also ajar, with a wallet stolen from one of the vehicles. Myers said a wallet was stolen from one of the vehicles, with a debit card later used for an Xbox Live purchase.
Five entering auto incidents occurred at residences on Cobblestone Boulevard on Nov. 9.
Myers said one of the vehicle showed no sign of forced entry and had a purse stolen. The remaining vehicles had windows smashed, with only a pair of sunglasses stolen from one of the vehicles.
Peachtree City police reports indicated that a golf cart was reported stolen from the Ga. Highway 54 and Walt Banks Road retail area on Nov. 7. The victim later recovered the golf cart behind Booth Middle School, according to reports.
Also on Nov. 7, an officer was dispatched to Booth Middle on a report of a tire slashing, reports said.
