Jaclyn Hester, a 12-year-old student at Rising Starr Middle School, was invited by the Atlanta Braves to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” June 29.

She is a vocal student at The Ugarte Studio.

“The young talent was seemingly not affected by the vastness of the venue and delivered quite solidly where other much older performers might have been intimidated,” according to a one report.

“Those present in the audience had a hard time believing that the tall, blond girl was actually 12 years old as her voice and talent are not usually seen in one so young.  At the end of her performance, she received a heartfelt, well-deserved applause by the fans who screamed and whistled showing their approval.”
