On April 27, Promise Place received an Empowerment Package from Fellowship of Love Church (FOLC) in the amount of $4,000. The money will be used to purchase new air conditioner/heater units, as well as office supplies. Promise Place is a nonprofit organization that provides services for victims of domestic violence and their children in Fayette, Spalding, Pike and Upson Counties, including temporary housing, a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, legal advocacy and a food pantry.
