The Peachtree City Chapter of the New Neighbors League Club (NNLC) named Cheryl Bains as the New Neighbor of the Month for December.

Cheryl moved from Virginia but lived in Peachtree City once before. She is married to Chris, who is in the military, and has a daughter Caitlin who is currently teaching in Korea. Cheryl is also a parent to a Lab name Cam.

This new neighbor likes to have fun and engage in adventurous activities. She loves to camp, horseback ride and recently returned from a walking tour of Germany. History is a subject she enjoys and is a member of the Senoia Historical Society. Cheryl is known for making the best Lemon tarts from her English mother’s recipe.

As a member of the New Neighbors League, Baines has served as 1st Vice President and the Tours chairperson. Currently she is an advisor the club and participates in Pokeno, tours, luncheons, fun and friendship and heads up the daytime Bunco. Cheryl also loves to play bridge.

NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together, so that they may meet and become friends, while adjusting to new surroundings. It is a not-for-profit social organization that offers a wide variety of special interests groups.

Fayette/Coweta county area residents who would like more information about NNLC, should contact Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116 or visit www.newneighborsptc.com.
