The Thanksgiving Day celebration at Station #2 for Fayette County Fire and Emergency Services was cooked at the station, but delayed until the evening due to a call to put out a brush fire that endangered a residence.

It is a small reminder that there are men and women working around the clock, regardless of the holiday, serving as first responders to keep the community safe.

From left are Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician Matt Noel; Firefighter Travis Strickland; Firefighter/Paramedic Joe Hartley; and Lieutenant Edward Sherwood (shift lieutenant at Station #2).
